The 24th Annual WA Lee Equity Lecture presented by Chief Justice Bowskill was our most highly attended lecture yet on Thursday 2nd November. We are so grateful for Her Honour’s thought provoking lecture on “The interaction of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander customary law with some aspects of the law of equity – is the view any different through the lens of the Human Rights Act?” .
You can view a gallery of images from the evening here if you are interested.
We will also be sharing a video of the lecture on our YouTube channel in the coming days if you know someone that might be interested in watching it or you would like to view it again.
Thank you to our event partner the TC Beirne School of Law at the University of Queensland for helping make the event possible and also our networking sponsors de Groots Will and Estate Lawyers, Estate First Lawyers and Mitchell’s Solicitors.
