Sponsored by Perpetual

The 2024 Queensland Emerging Philanthropist of the Year Award will honour an innovative, emerging philanthropist, team of students or giving circle, whose significant early achievements embody the qualities that define philanthropic excellence, including outstanding generosity and creativity. This Award is not about the biggest cheque, financial contribution, or largest public profile, and will recognise an individual, or a group of young people who are the start of their giving journey.

The recipient of this award will have the privilege of nominating a charity of their choice to receive a $2,000 donation sponsored by Perpetual.

The successful nominee will possess the following qualities:

  • Queensland philanthropist, team of students or giving circle, with outstanding philanthropic support to causes/organisations within the Queensland community.
  • Significant measurable impact made in the Queensland community through leadership in philanthropy, voluntary commitment of time, advocacy, financial donations and fundraising.
  • Demonstrated creativity in philanthropic efforts.
  • An inspirational role model.

The criteria for the award will focus on philanthropy that is outstanding in its generosity – effective and impactful – and that exemplifies qualities such as commitment, inspiration and leadership.

All nominees will receive a certificate of nomination.

All nominees will be included in our digital campaign.

Submissions will be reviewed by an external Selection Panel.
